Creative Defense
Dogsitting
So I have had a dog for 3 days. I talked to Teddy for awhile and here are some things that us 'humans' should know...
1. Blaming your farts on me ... not funny ... not funny at all!
2. Yelling at me for barking. I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG, YOU IDIOT!
3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway?
4. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose. Stop it!
5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.
6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain.
7. Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back!
8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.
9. Dog sweaters. Hello??? Haven't you noticed the fur?
10. How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous.
Now lay off us on some of these things, We both know who's boss here! You don't see me picking up your poop do you?

Baseball Season is Here
Well, spring training is already here in Tampa. The regular season begins soon and I look forward to great games and probably a few bench clearing brawls between the Rays and the Yankees. This clip has nothing to do with that, but I think the Yankee manager is an idiot.

Busted Brackets

Cinderella lives in Tampa. It was the perfect ending for a crazy day in Tampa, the bracket-busting town that should be called Upset City after Friday’s opening round. It was the first site in NCAA history to have four 12 or lower seeds win. In fact, no other place had even had two in one day. 12th-seeded Villanova gave this NCAA tournament pod its fourth upset in as many games with a 75-69 victory over No. 5 seed Clemson in the first round of the Midwest Region on Friday night.
First, No. 12 seed Western Kentucky knocked off fifth-seeded Drake in overtime with a desperation 26-footer at the buzzer. Then, 13th-seeded San Diego upended No. 4 seed Connecticut, hitting a long jumper with 1.2 seconds left in overtime. And No. 13 seed Siena led from the start to send fourth-seeded Vanderbilt home earlier than expected. I guess it would have been worth the $90 to sit in the rafters to watch this.

RockBand
As I thought, Rockband is AWESOME!!
I played last night with 3 other guys who do pretty well at Guitar Hero. I think even on easy the guitar/bass parts are a little harder. But the awesomer part is playing the drums. Kind of difficult at first, if you've never played the drums before. I haven't and my leg and arms would get mixed up. I felt retarded during the first song and by the time I had four songs done it still happened a few times of the harder combos. Then at the end of the night I sang for 4-5 songs in a row. Well, it wasn't really that many, included were 3 failed attempts at Enter Sandman by Metallica. One of the hardest song for amateurs on easy mode. Once, we got past 50%. Did much better with Weezer "Say It Ain't So", then "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden. My voice was cracking like Peter Brady on the high notes, which was for most of the song. Boston "Foreplay/Longtime" was the finale. You don't really have to sing, just match the pitch needed. I'm surprised the neighbors didn't call the cops on us thinking we were strangling monkeys, plus the damn microphone provides some nice feedback squeal when you pause the game. Overall, I want to buy this immediately for myself. Plus, I'll record myself singing to keep away the crows when I move to some cornfield in Nebraska. Thumbs up for the better graphics. Favorite was when the band failed a song and the crowd boos, throws shit on stage, the singer throws his mike at the guitarist. Here's vid of how I might play after a long winter in Omaha. At 1:40 the music shuts off to show how annoying the drum kit sounds by itself. Good thing last night the kit I played on had felt glued to the pads.

New Hulk Trailer
Just in case, you missed it at 10pm on MTV. Does anyone watch that anyone. Oh wait, of course I would ask that. I am over 30. Nobody over thirty would watch a music video channel that doesn't play music videos. Well, granted they do have videos. At 3pm with TRL, and after midnight, but oh gee golly, I have a job so I am at work at 3pm and in bed cuz I have to get up for work. Go figure.
BTW, this is the new Hulk trailer.
Any good? I'm not too jazzed by it. Before, when they showed the house partially exploding, now not so much. I'm not thrilled by Norton's performance. And, I'm not buying the underlying evil like I did with Fight Club. Plus for added goodness, I am basing my opinions on nothing, like Maxim did to a recent CD release (Black Crows). But we knew they would suck anyways. Just like, I'm betting the movie will. So, this will get marked off my top ten list for the summer. Still, speculating, maybe when the trailer posts tomorrow, I will really make up my mind. But then I will need something to watch at the drive-in.

Then the highest paid MLB team is whining about rough play by the Tampa Bay/Devil/Sun/ Rays. Some overpaid catcher got a boo-boo while sadly performing his job. Clicky
Its been obvious for the last two years there is a lot of bad blood between the Rays and Yankees. We'll probably see someone for the RedSox complain about Tampa soon. The Rays may not make the playoffs, but they tried real hard to make life miserable for the two rival teams. I think Tampa had a winning record against the Yankees last year, not confirmed, I'm not lazy to search for it. I took 20+ bags of garbage out today b/c I am trying to bring as little as possible to Omaha. Just like Elliot Johnson when he played his ass off for a (low paid) spot on the team. Plus, he's a twig, 6 foot, 185lbs. I would have thought a fly hit me. I guess it would be better than playing for the Columbus Catfish.

KungFu fighting cowboys and laser pistols! I can only hope that Omaha will be like this! You might recognize the song/band from Guitar Hero. I hated playing this song. It always seemed like it was three times longer than it actually was.
In the beginning of the video, can anyone figure out why he shot the bush, while riding his horse across the desert, with his laser pistol? What did that bush ever do to him?
